‘You look like hell’: Trump berates reporter who asks if he is tired of campaigning
US President Donald Trump lashed out at a Reuters reporter on Thursday after being asked whether he cancelled a planned campaign rally in Kansas because he was tired of travelling ahead of the midterm elections.
Trump rejected the suggestion, saying he felt “perfect” after holding what he described as 28 rallies. He explained that he would instead address supporters in Kansas remotely and travel to Florida the following day.
The exchange turned hostile as Trump called the reporter “sick” and “disgusting”, criticised Reuters and told him to get in shape, adding: “You look like hell.”
Trump made the remarks after arriving at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
