Reaching for the Starmus: Science and music festival back in Tenerife
Some of the world’s leading scientific minds are gathering in Tenerife to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Starmus Festival, that’s devoted to science and music.
Under the theme ‘The Search for Truth’, the week-long event brings together Nobel prize-winners, astronauts, conservationists and artists, such as Queen guitarist Brian May and keyboardist Rick Wakeman to discuss and share ideas on the value of studying science.
The festival also strives to bring into the mix key figures from pop culture who have successfully communicated about science in their art.
