Summary

Anna Uddenberg transforms Telegraph Gallery into a sterile office environment for her first solo exhibition in the Czech Republic.

Sculptural figures merge with Herman Miller chairs and desks, exploring how corporate spaces influence the body and everyday behavior.

Curated by Samuel Staples, White Noise opens October 22 and runs through February 4, 2027.

For Anna Uddenberg‘s latest exhibition, White Noise, the Berlin-based artist is turning Telegraph Gallery in Olomouc, Czech Republic, into a corporate environment where furniture and the human body become increasingly difficult to separate.

Opening October 22, the exhibition marks Uddenberg’s first solo presentation in the Czech Republic. Known for her unsettling sculptures that explore body culture, consumerism and the influence of technology, the Swedish-born artist takes aim at the everyday objects and spaces that quietly dictate how we move, sit and behave.

Most of what we’ve seen come out of Uddenberg’s studio practice, sculptural figures appear to grow through desks and chairs, becoming extensions of the very objects designed to support them. And what initially resembles a functional office gradually reveals something more uncomfortable, where ergonomics gives way to control and the body becomes another piece of corporate furniture.

Uddenberg has spent much of her career examining the relationship between people and the objects they use, often drawing from fashion, technology, wellness culture and public interiors. Her sculptures push these familiar references into strange territory, questioning whether the things designed to make our lives easier might also be shaping our behavior in ways we barely notice.

White Noise opens October 22, 2026, and runs through February 4, 2027, at Telegraph Gallery in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
