New Jersey’s Big SNOW American Dream is thinking pink this October. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Big SNOW is offering discounted lift tickets for guests wearing pink on Wednesdays throughout October. Guests who deck out in pink on Wednesdays will receive 50% off Snow Day Packages or 2-Hour Slope Access Passes to enjoy North America’s only indoor real-snow skiing experiences. The promotion is limited to one redemption per person.
“When it comes to breast cancer, this is a cause that holds a special place in our hearts, and we know how important early detection can be,” Big SNOW General Manager Dempsey Mendryzycki told WRNJ Radio. “This is a small initiative that we hope will have a big impact when it comes to raising awareness, and we encourage our guests to not only wear pink and show their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but also to continue championing the message of early detection with their friends, families and loved ones all month long.”
For guests who cannot make Wednesdays work, Big SNOW is offering the promotion on Tuesday, October 13, in recognition of National Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
Big SNOW is just one of many other organizations recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Nonprofit organization Boarding 4 Breast Cancer has worked with leading ski apparel brands like 686 and ThirtyTwo for special merchandise drops where proceeds fund patient care and education. Ski manufacturer K2 has featured pink ribbons on various women’s ski and snowboarding equipment models as well as supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for years.

About Big Snow
Located inside the American Dream shopping and entertainment complex in East Rutherford, Big SNOW American Dream is North America’s first and only indoor, year-round ski resort with real snow. The 180,000-square-foot facility sits inside a climate-controlled dome with four acres of skiable terrain. Temperatures are kept at a chilly 28°F to 32°F all year long, keeping the snow consistent with a dry and soft feel.
Big SNOW has several slopes for all kinds of skiers and snowboarders. The main slope is 1,000 feet long with a 160-foot vertical drop split into four sections: beginner (Little Dipper), intermediate (Switchback), and advanced/terrain park (Northern Lights). As for lift infrastructure, the indoor resort has four total lifts, including two magic carpets, one fixed-grip quad chairlift, and one Poma button lift.
On top of chill indoor laps, Big SNOW also has a ski school, full-package ski and snowboard rentals, SNO-GO bike rentals, and snow tubing.
