The 2026-27 snowboard season is just a few weeks away, and the U.S. Snowboard Team has announced its official rosters for halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air. Across all three disciplines and their pro and rookie teams, 35 total athletes will compete under the American flag this year, representing the country in FIS Park & Pipe World Cups, the 2027 World Championship, and other competitions throughout the season.

Headlining the 2026-27 Team USA freestyle snowboarding roster are several veterans who have been in the game for years now. Standout 2018 Olympic slopestyle gold medalist Red Gerard has been a staple on Team USA for over a decade, and he will look to continue his string of success in 2026-27. Two-time Olympic slopestyle gold medalist Jamie Anderson will also compete under the American flag this season, as will halfpipe legend and two-time Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim.
On the other hand, young talent is also scattered throughout. There’s 23-year-old Jake Canter, fresh off a slopestyle bronze from the 2026 Olympics. Also, 16-year-old Jess Perlmutter and 17-year-old Lily Dhawornvej both made their Olympic debuts in 2026, both putting up solid performances and making the finals in slopestyle. Let’s not forget 18-year-old halfpipe Alessandro Barbieri, who also had a strong Olympic debut in 2026, finishing eighth overall.

The rookie teams are not to be overlooked, either. For example, 15-year-old Toranosuke Komiyama competes in all three disciplines and has a deep bag of tricks that includes 1800-degree spins in three directions off of big air jumps. Halfpipe rookie 17-year-old Kaylee Tippit has been competing in World Cups since 2024 and earned NorAm Cup podiums at Mammoth (third) and Aspen Buttermilk (second) last season. Rookies on the U.S. Snowboard Team are typically between the ages of 13 and 20, and have made the rookie roster after strong junior, regional, or domestic tour performances.

With rosters officially set, Team USA will look to put up its best possible results in competition. The pro teams will focus on World Cups, World Championships, and other elite-level competitions like the X Games and The Snow League. Rookie teams will travel to developmental or junior circuits like the NorAm Cup, Futures Tour, and Junior World Championships.
The 2026-27 FIS Park & Pipe begins with its inaugural AIRDRENALINE Big Air event in Innsbruck, Austria, on November 26-28, 2026.
