Since its founding in 1995, popular snowboard brand ThirtyTwo has focused on two main areas: boots and apparel. That changed last October, when the brand announced its expansion into snowboard manufacturing for the first time. And now, after nearly a year of waiting, ThirtyTwo’s first line of snowboards is available.
ThirtyTwo’s first snowboard lineup includes 12 unique shapes built around five main demands: unique shapes, bold graphics, true camber, precision flex, and faster bases. With its 12 unique shapes, snowboarders have 108 sizes and 86 next-generation models to choose from, each built with high-quality materials. Men’s, women’s, and youth boards are all represented, as are several riding styles such as park, powder, and all-mountain, ensuring every type of rider has a ThirtyTwo board for them.
“ThirtyTwo is launching with so many board options – twelve custom shapes in year one is insane,” ThirtyTwo rider Patrick Hofmann said in a Bomb Hole article.
The rider-owned brand did not forget about art, either. The boards feature unique, poppy graphics from a mix of skate, fashion, and tattoo artists.

ThirtyTwo has long been a staple in the boots and outerwear side of the sport. The brand truly began to take off in the mid-2010s with its technical boot innovations, elite team, action-packed videos, and focus on street-style snowboarding. ThirtyTwo also made waves with its pro team, known as the T32M. Over the years, the T32M has included street icons like Scott Stevens, Chris Grenier, Chris Bradshaw, JP Walker, and Desiree Melancon — all of which helped push ThirtyTwo into the snowboarding spotlight.
Today, the T32M is just as strong. Pat Fava, Phil Hansen, Patrick Hofmann, and Brin Alexander are the first riders officially signed to the new ThirtyTwo Snowboards team, and each had a hand in making the boards come to life.
“The board line is no joke,” Hansen told The Bomb Hole. “The graphics are incredible, the tech is top-tier, and I’m hyped on the direction we’re heading.”
“I’m stoked to be an original rider on the Thirtytwo Snowboards team, ‘cause this crew kills it,” Alexander added in The Bomb Hole‘s article. “The boarders involved, the team behind it, and what’s ahead for the future is next-level.”
For long-time ThirtyTwo T32M rider Pat Fava, the release of snowboards was a long time coming.
“I grew up idolizing the ThirtyTwo team,” Fava told The Bomb Hole. “Some of my favorite riders back then were on ThirtyTwo promo boards, and I wanted one so bad. Now, having my own board with ThirtyTwo is a full-circle moment. The shape of my pro model is everything I’ve ever wanted in a board: round nose and tail, a little longer nose, and full camber.”
Fava will ride the XXX Fava Pro this upcoming season — a lively and responsive park board designed to demolish the biggest rails on the mountain and in the streets. The board’s unique eight-ball and liquor bottle graphic adds a street-like touch to the board. Fava told The Bomb Hole his pro model is “the sickest graphic I’ve ever seen — a board that’ll live past its days on snow as wall-hanging art.”
ThirtyTwo’s move into snowboards this year matches the brand’s first-ever binding lineup, which dropped last season. The brand’s bindings used the young FASE Fast Entry System — a next-generation snowboard binding technology that combined the ease of step-ins with the locked-in feel of a two-strap binding.
ThirtyTwo boards are available for purchase, and the brand is officially in the snowboard game. With 12 unique shapes, high-quality materials, and over 100 sizes to choose from, every kind of rider can find a board for them. So keep an eye out for ThirtyTwo boards on the mountain this season, because the brand is ready to take over with its new snowboards.
