In photos: The wildest Paris parties of the SS27 season

Now the dust has settled on the catwalk shows, we’re looking back at all our favourite after party moments from the fashion capital of the world

Welcome to the Fashion Week Photo Diary, a series where photographers document the faces, places and parties surrounding global catwalk shows. Discover the archive here.

Paris Fashion Week SS27 has come and gone, and if you’re reading this with a faint ringing in your ears (and remnants of glitter on your collar) you were probably there, and you probably had a great time. While the runways did their job, just a stone’s throw from the shows was where the real fun took place.

Things kicked off on Tuesday with Lucila Safdie’s soirée, hosted with The Cobrasnake at Hôtel Grand Amour’s Book Bar, a perfect introduction to the new season’s cast of characters. From there, the week unspooled in all the right places. Studio Olympia took over Serpent à Plume, while Acne Studios celebrated its 30th anniversary at Le Grand Café. Later in the week, Gaspar Noé took the decks for Petit’s Dance Hole at Silencio, his experimental set ringing through the corridors of the David Lynch-designed nightclub. And not soon after, there were plenty of double-cheeked kisses and bottomless drinks at the1989’s party at Pamela.

The cherry on top of this frenzied week, however, was JUDE MGMT’s own party at Silencio, just as the weather finally began to cool down. In their best looks and on their worst behaviour, the eruptive crowd partied with the likes of Clairo, who’d come straight from the Valentino show with photographer Morgan Maher. A DJ set by models Sophia Álvarez and Lux Gillespie kept the room moving. The star of the show was a live performance from Bb Trickz, who brought an undisputedly frenetic energy to the dancefloor. Paris Fashion Week is, in theory, about the clothes, but if SS27 taught anyone anything, it’s that the best looks are the ones you’ll find off-schedule. The final observation, then: will next season go even harder?
