The SnowBrains Podcast Season 7 launches next Tuesday, October 13.

After six years, 105 episodes, and conversations with some of the ski industry’s biggest and best stars, minds, and people behind the scenes, the SnowBrains Podcast is returning tomorrow for its most ambitious season to date.

With 20+ episodes planned, our goal with the podcast remains the same: capturing conversations with the widest array of minds across the entire ski and snow sports world. We’ve got some great episodes planned, and we are excited to bring the stoke for the upcoming ski season so soon.

Season 7 Guests:

  • Jeff Kohnstamm, President of Timberline Lodge, OR, home to the longest ski season in North America, and one of the most iconic ski buildings on Earth.
  • Chris Tomer, Mountain Meteorologist, who will be returning to the show for a second time to talk all this El Niñ0 and what skiers should expect for the upcoming season.
  • Brandon Swartz, General Manager of Smugglers Notch, VT, talking about the resort’s new ownership and the future of this old school New England staple.
  • Dr. Kevin Stone, Sports Physician & Orthopedic Surgeon, returning for a record-setting 4th time, this time talking all things peptides, GLP-1s, and the potential role they have for skiers/snowboarders.
  • Joe Hession, CEO of SNOW Partners, the company behind SnowCloud, Terrain Based Learning, Mountain Creek Ski Resort, NJ, Big Snow, NJ, the only indoor ski area in North America, and the new Snow Triple Play and Snow Pass.
  • Mike Solimano, President of Killington, VT, the biggest (and now independent) ski resort on the East Coast, which has poured over $60 million in investments into the resort since the new ownership group came on.
  • Lonie Glieberman, Founder, Owner, and Operator of Mount Bohemia, MI, one of the most unique ski resorts in North America, known for being the biggest and snowiest ski resort in the Midwest, offering solely black and double black diamond terrain, while also selling a $99 season pass.
  • Chris Benchetler, Pro Freeskier, Artist, and Filmmaker, is perhaps most well-known for his wildly popular Atomic Bent collection of skis, but just mentioning that would do him a great injustice – he has also been on an artistic journey that is pushing the limits of how ski films and art can coexist with his latest film Mountains of the Moon.
  • Stephen Kircher, President & CEO of Boyne Resorts, the largest family-owned ski operator in North America, running Big Sky, MT, Boyne Mountain, MI, The Highlands, MI, Brighton, UT, The Summit at Snoqualmie, WA, Loon Mountain, NH, Sunday River, ME, Sugarloaf, ME, and more.
  • Craig Gordon, recently retired Utah Avalanche Center Forecaster & Educator, known for being a pioneer and prominent voice in backcountry winter safety.
  • Brad Wilson, General Manager of Bogus Basin, ID, the largest non-profit ski area in North America.
  • Ross Hewitt, IFMGA Mountain Guide & Pro Skier, a local expert based in the epicenter of ski mountaineering – Chamonix, France.
  • Alan Henceroth, President & COO of Arapahoe Basin, CO, a man who has worked at the same ski resort for almost 40 years and has helped steer one of the most unique and iconic ski resort cultures in North America through thick and thin.
  • Dr. Ernest Braxton, Neurosurgeon for the U.S. Ski Team, based in Vail, CO, who has become a pioneer in spine and neurosurgery after serving as a combat neurosurgeon in Afghanistan for the U.S. military.
  • Tom Powell, Chair of Sky Tavern, NV, an often overlooked non-profit ski school and ski area located in the Lake Tahoe region.
  • Drake Olson, legendary Haines, AK, Bush Pilot, known for being the only pilot in the region who can bring skiers/snowboarders to some of the most challenging, gnarly, and iconic terrain that we have come to know and love in ski films over the past three decades.
  • Lars Chickering-Ayers, Co-Founder of CAST Bindings, a hybrid touring/downhill alpine binding that has exploded in popularity among professional freeskiers and guides.
  • Adam Sinkus, Ski Patroller at Treetops, MI, who brings a voice and awareness to the invisible army of volunteer ski patrollers who keep the majority of ski resorts across North America safe and afloat.
  • Tao Kreibich, Professional Freeskier & Filmmaker, who formerly competed on the Freeride World Tour and is now creating freeski films and YouTube videos in exotic ski locations, including Lebanon, China, and Georgia.
