With the 2026-27 winter season fast approaching, resorts across the Pacific Group Resorts (PGR) portfolio are rolling out capital investments, expanded snowmaking infrastructure, and new on-mountain programming. Against a backdrop of rising industry pass prices, PGR continues to anchor its operations around Mission AffordableⓇ — offering unrestricted, transferable 4-Packs, free learn-to-ski initiatives, and affordable access.

Here is what’s new on the snow this winter at Jay Peak, Mount Washington, Powderhorn, SilverStar, Wintergreen, and Wisp:

MOUNT WASHINGTON ALPINE RESORT, VANCOUVER ISLAND

Infrastructure Upgrades: Comprehensive summer brush-cutting across nine alpine trails and select Nordic routes — paired with snowmaking infrastructure improvements on Coaster and Lower Retirement — will allow for earlier terrain openings.

Expanded Terrain & Next-Gen Grooming: Frontside flow improves this season with an extension connecting the Dingo trail directly into Parkview — providing seamless terrain access from both the Eagle and Boomerang chairlifts. On the snow, one brand-new snowcat and one new-to-Nordic snowcat hit the slopes this winter to elevate grooming quality across both alpine and Nordic trail systems.

Refreshed Dining: The resort is debuting The Concession, a retro-carnival-styled grab-and-go eatery that’s heavy on nostalgia, replacing The Cantina. Additionally, Buck’s Bar features a refreshed look and new bar games.

Mission Affordable 6IXPAK: The Mission Affordable 6IXPAK includes six deeply discounted shareable and transferable activity tickets valid for alpine or Nordic access. The 6IXPAK is $579 (CAD) starting October 15, 2026 (price increases December 1, 2026). New this season: two bonus night ski tickets are included with every 6IXPAK. And every 6IXPAK ticket is valid from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, which equates to $600+ in savings compared to buying single adult day + night ski upgrade, and single adult night lift tickets.
