Jane Remover gets her beauty sleep, 2hollis is on a war(horse) path, and Tiakola is putting French rap on the map: it’s Wonderlist!

Jane Remover – “Beauty Sleep”

Genre-bending American artist Jane Remover is back with “Beauty Sleep”, her first new music since last year’s Revengeseekerz and the surprise “♡” EP. The track comes with a very Jane Remover video, showing her stuck in a test tube being poked by scientists before escaping to the coast on a motorbike. She’s currently halfway through her sold-out Live Exhibit tour across North America, so it’s safe to say Jane is having a pretty busy year.

2hollis – “Warhorse”

Boundary-pushing and bohemian, 2hollis continues his rampant run of releases with news of his fifth studio album, Pirouette, set for release on 11th November via Interscope. We’ve got a taster single in the form of “Warhorse”, an impressively progressive and sonically surprising opus that suggests a return to his best on the ensuing record.

Tiakola ft. Rema “Best” 

With collaborations with Dave, Asake and Nemzz under his belt, Tiakola can now add Rema to his roster with his new track “Best” off his album WpointM. Being one of French rap’s biggest exports, he holds his own against the superstar power and vocal prowess of the Nigerian Afrobeats artist. One to look out for, especially with a Jorja Smith feature on his record, too. 

Worldpeace DMT – “Gabriel”

London’s idiosyncratic duo Worldpeace DMT continue to put purpose in peculiarity with the release of a new single, “Gabriel”. The single, an inaugural glimpse at their forthcoming 16th October-set sophomore album Stick Around For Tea, is a psychedelic pop ballad that blends classic homage with slick modernism.  

Quadeca – “Life 1 (where did the time go)”

Having announced that his upcoming album Life 1 will be dropping on 1st October, Quadeca’s given us one more look into what we can expect with his latest and last single, “Life 1 (where did the time go)”. Off-kilter and detuned to start, it all comes together as the LA-born artist’s soothing vocals enters, along with a myriad of other soundscapes including a piano riff, a flamenco-like guitar and jazz-infused drums. 

Bawo – “Wrestlemania”

One of London rap’s finest modern exports, Bawo is back with another slick and characterful EP, “Surf’s Up”. Lead single “Wrestlemania” is the Londoner to a T – atop a cinematic, curated soundscape, he flaunts his vocal fluidity between melody and rapping, constantly dropping interesting lyrical ideas. 

Déyyess – “The Chapel”

Regardless of the circumstances, we’re following singer-songwriter Déyyess to “The Chapel.” On this joyful, melancholy-tinged single, she expresses the fullness and breadth of her love – one without shame. A song about her having to confront her internalised homophobia, this sees Hannah turn inwards and turn her angst into something anthemic. 

Jesse Jo Stark – “Colorado”

Singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark has confirmed news of a forthcoming album, entitled Muse, set to be unleashed into the world on 6th November. In the meantime, we’ve been gifted the first single, “Colorado”, a gorgeous and understated country rock ballad accompanied by a delightfully snowy music video.

Leon Bridges – “Watch You Dance” 

Why head to the “River” when Leon Bridges could just sit and “Watch You Dance”? His husky, crisp lyrics saunter over a silky, slow-burning groove as the Texas soulman turns his gaze towards the object of his affection. Warm with old-school charm but polished with a modern sheen, the track finds Leon in his romantic sweet spot — proving that sometimes, all you need is a good view and a little rhythm.

Remi Wolf – “I Won’t Cry”

Remi Wolf is back with “I Won’t Cry”, a slower one about the pain of wanting someone back after things have ended. It starts pretty soft before building into a much bigger chorus, with Remi asking the age-old question: Why don’t you want me back? The track is the third single of her new album Mud, which will be out on 9th October.

Nippa – “Bittersweet”

Nippa’s left us with a “Bittersweet” taste in our mouths following the release of his latest EP, Homegrown – and he got a helping hand from everyone’s favourite DJ, Kaytranada. The Canadian producer drapes Nippa’s effortless vocals in his signature silky grooves, turning the soulful original into something altogether more seductive. It’s a sweet little track that leaves just enough lingering to have you coming back for more.

TSHA – “Another Planet”

British DJ and producer TSHA’s new release “Another Planet” is a dancefloor track that was made for getting lost on a night out. It’s the latest single from her upcoming EP “Mi Casa”, which was inspired by her life in Ibiza and the island’s long history of dance music. If you need something to soundtrack your next night out or Ibiza trip, this one is for you. 

Queens of the Stone Age – “Where The Goth Girls At?”

Marking the Queens of the Stone Age’s third single off of their forthcoming album Perfecth, “Where The Goth Girls At?” Is an anthem born out of nostalgia. Drawing on lead singer Josh Homme’s memories of seeing goth girls giving old ladies makeovers at JCPennys during his youth, the track pairs raw riffs with a powerful, emotive chorus. Wherever the goth girls are is where he wants to be, after all. 

Stephanie Gilbert – “An Elf In The Modern World”

Stockholm songwriter Stephanie Gilbert is back with “An Elf In The Modern World”, a dreamy track about feeling a bit out of place in the world we’re living in. It’s about getting lost in the internet, trends and algorithms, and missing the version of yourself who didn’t really care about any of it. Her debut EP “Elvish” is out 6th November.

Rex Orange County – “Grandma Song”

Following his All Points East performance and collaboration with Daniel Caesar on “Indecision”, English artist Rex Orange County shares another single, “Grandma Song”. Gracious and emotive, the track is the latest look at Rex’s forthcoming album, Dream Fatigue, due 6th November.

Dani Offline – “ouch!”

Dani Offline has us saying “ouch!” as she turns the sweetness of romance sour. Inspired by the ’70s dating show The Dating Game, the singer plays five very different love interests in the track’s playful visual, while beneath the charm lies something far more emotionally complex. Disarmingly sweet melodies meet the sting of modern dating, proving that sometimes the prettiest songs leave the deepest bruises.

Charlotte Dos Santos – “How Come” 

Enticing Brazilian-Norwegian artist Charlotte Dos Santos is back in business with the gorgeous “How Come,” continuing a fresh chapter of artistic and personal growth. Released via her own imprint, True Node, the single sits between soul, jazz, Brazilian music and experimental pop, with dazzling vocals and relatable lyrics.

Starcleaner Reunion – “Tea Drops Park”

New Jersey band Starcleaner Reunion delivers expressive and sophisticated art pop on the superb, cinematic, self-produced debut album, Umbrella. Lead single “Tea Drops Park” is a real standout moment, with Jo Roman’s hypnotic vocals augmenting the compelling, cascading sonic backdrop.

Wonjin – “Candy”

Producer and vocalist Wonjin – best known as a member of the alternative K-pop group Balming Tiger – has released “Candy,” a sublimely executed lovestruck wonder. The delightful track is the first solo offering from the Korean, and is the first taste of his forthcoming debut full-length album Mangsangrok, poised for release on 20th October. 

Nautics – “Lie About The House”

The best thing you could do, it seems, is not just “Lie About The House.” The last single to follow the release of their debut album, People Only Like Me When I’m Leaving. The New York City-based band lean further into their knack for turning everyday observations into something altogether impactful. With hazy guitars, restless rhythms and a healthy dose of indie-rock melancholy, it’s a fitting next chapter for a band still figuring out exactly where they’re going.

Seyi Vibez – “SWAGUU”

Seyi Vibez cements himself as one of Afro music’s biggest names with the release of SWAGGUU, a sprawling 14-track project that sees him finessing his unique approach. The title track borrows the craft and class of US rap heavyweight Quavo.

163Margs Ft. Clavish – “Ye”
