Tickets for the 2026 World Cup at Killington, VT, are Now on Sale

Killington Resort, Vermont, announced on September 4 that tickets for this year’s FIS Alpine World Cup at Killington. The Killington Cup takes place over Thanksgiving Weekend, November 27-29, 2026, bringing the world’s top women’s alpine ski racers to the U.S. East Coast’s largest resort for a major stop on the World Cup circuit.

The return of World Cup racing to Killington is exciting news for alpine skiing fans across North America, following the cancellation of the 2025 edition due to construction on the resort’s Superstar Six chairlift. This year’s event will feature two disciplines — women’s slalom and women’s giant slalom — held on the famous Superstar trail at the face of the resort. Stars from the U.S. Ski Team are expected to compete, including Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Moltzan.

The weekend of celebration kicks off on Friday, November 27, with an athlete bib draw, fireworks, and live music, which are all free to the public. The racing begins on Saturday, November 28, with giant slalom, and wraps up with slalom on Sunday, November 29.

For skiing fans, the Killington Cup is one of the most exciting events of the season — in part due to its popularity. It is one of the most attended annual events on the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup tour, with crowds of nearly 40,000 spectators flocking to the resort to watch the event. Multiple stands are put up at the base of the mountain, giving fans the best possible views as their favorite athletes cross the finish line. 

The crowds certainly bring the energy, too. Fans cheer, applaud, and ring bells during every run, making for a premier sports environment rivaling that of any football team. As skiers get closer to the base, the roar of the crowd becomes increasingly loud, motivating them to finish as fast as possible. For skiing fans, attending the Killington Cup and being a part of one of skiing’s best crowds is a must-do.

As it has in previous years, the 2026 Killington Cup will feature HERoic: an initiative created by U.S. Ski and Snowboard to empower women in both sports. Following Saturday’s races and live music, Killington and HERoic will screen a movie and host a panel discussion with female leaders across the outdoor industry.

As an important event for rising stars, it will also feature a new tagline: “Where Legends Rise and Beasts Awaken.” Having helped kick off the careers of dozens of legends — including Shiffrin, Lara Gut-Behrami, and more — the tagline is a fitting one as fans watch the next potential skiing legend blaze down Superstar.

Fans interested in attending the FIS Alpine World Cup at Killington have four ticket options to choose from: general admission, grandstand, premier grandstand, and VIP. 

General admission tickets offer access to viewing areas around the base of the Superstar trail and adjacent to the racecourse. Two video boards will provide top-to-bottom race coverage, and  approximately 35% of the course will be visible from these areas. General admission tickets start at $1o per day.

Grandstand ticket holders have access to all rows except the top five in the grandstands located at the base of Superstar. The grandstands provide an elevated view of the course, allowing for more live viewing of the skiers as they near the finish line. Grandstand tickets are $50 for Saturday and $45 for Sunday.

Premier grandstand tickets provide guaranteed access to the highest five rows of the grandstands at the base of Superstar trail. There, fans have one of the best vantage points of the course. Premier grandstand tickets cost $110 for Saturday’s giant slalom races and $110 for Sunday’s slalom races.

Rounding out the four options are the VIP packages, which are sold in partnership with the Killington World Cup Foundation (KWCF). The KWCF is currently pre-selling Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages, including exclusive access to the Great Gulf LiveKillington.com VIP tent.
