In “Mosswood,” Nike’s Skate-Ready Forces Are Extra Earthy
Skate-ready Air Force 1s are one thing. Nike SB’s Force 58 sneaker is another thing. The latter, which is part of the in-line skate collection, is like an offbeat Air Force for skaters. It gets nice colorways, too.
The “Mosswood” pairs are particularly good-looking, with Nike splashing the skate model with teal green, earthy brown, and cream-white. It’s coupled with sturdy yet stylish canvas and suede layers, alongside a nice, thick rubber sole finished with board-ready tread.

Similar to the Code 58, Nike SB’s Force 58 balances both skate-ready details with Nike basketball aesthetics. We already know it borrows some steez from the iconic Air Force 1, but there’s also some Dunk energy there, too (funny enough, both models got proper skate spin-offs in recent years).
The Code 58 is a little more Dunk-ish in my opinion. But if you’re looking for a funky AF1-coded skate shoe, the Force 58 might be the answer.
