El Niño is unleashing its wrath on Chile. The austral winter is full-on this year. Photojournalist Cyrus Struckman arrived in the Araucanía region of Chile’s southern zone a few weeks ago. He brought with him his telemark skis, his camera, and a whole lot of stoke.

Since he’s been here, it’s dumped snow much more than its shined sun. It’s been wet and rainy and cloudy, deep and powdery, cold and windy, with a touch of sun here and there. It’s been an adventure, to say the least, and he’s captured it all on his camera with these incredible photos he has shared with SnowBrains. Go ahead see for yourself.
