Adult DVD face reality on clubby new single ‘Rolling Face’: “A job in a suit can only get you so far”

Adult DVD have shared their new single ‘Rolling Face’ from their upcoming debut album – check it out below.

The rising Leeds dance band will release the self-titled 12-track record on September 25 via Fat Possum Records, following on from their EPs ‘Fountain Of Youth’ (2023) and ‘Next Day Shipping’ (2024). Pre-order/pre-save here.
The sextet have already shared the title track and ‘Real Tree Lee’ from their upcoming record. Now the band have shared club banger ‘Rolling Face’. You can listen to it below.
“A job in a suit can only get you so far, which is what the character from rolling face soon realises, he’s at the deep end of a pretty ugly night out, which ends in him losing his mind and money,” the band said of the track.
To celebrate the release of their forthcoming album, the band have also announced a series of album release shows ahead of its release in their hometown and beyond.

Adult DVD were named as one of NME‘s top 10 shows at The Great Escape 2026 earlier this year. “We’re here for a good time, not a long time, and there’s no better Friday night soundtrack for that mantra than the dance-punk of Leeds party-starting sextet Adult DVD – even as we stand on tippy-toes to peek inside the rammed tent,” the review read.
“From the playful electro of ‘Dogs In The Sun’ to the industrial menace of ‘Real Tree Lee’ and the euphoric wig-out tribute to the screen icon ‘Bill Murray’, the Yorkshire lads sound like Working Men’s Club on a pinger or Fat Dog at the disco as they bring humour, hedonism and a heady performance worthy of the top shelf their name suggests. A proper must-see.”
