Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Wyoming, has announced its opening date for the 2026-27 season. The resort will kick off the upcoming season on Friday, November 27, 2026. In addition, Jackson Hole launches its Winter 2026-27 Early Bird Lift Ticket Sale, giving skiers and snowboarders an opportunity to lock in discounted lift tickets before the season begins.
The Early Bird sale runs through August 31, with savings of up to 50% on select single-day lift tickets and up to 65% on multi-day tickets of three or more days. Limited-quantity pricing means guests who purchase earlier have access to the resort’s lowest available rates and the widest selection of dates.
Single-day tickets start at $81, while select multi-day tickets start at $57 per day.
“There are mountains you visit, and there’s the one you never stop thinking about,” said Jackson Hole Mountain Resort CEO Doug Pierini. “For generations, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has been the mountain skiers and riders have measured everything else against, with legendary terrain, untracked powder days, and a wild western spirit unlike anywhere else. There’s a reason we’ve always been called The Big One, and this winter we’re inviting skiers and riders to come find out why.”
Jackson Hole averages approximately 458 inches (11.6 meters) of snowfall annually and offers 4,139 feet (1,262 meters) of continuous vertical, along with 2,500 acres (1,012 hectares) of skiable terrain spanning beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain. The iconic Jackson Hole Aerial Tram will once again provide access to the resort’s upper mountain, including some of the resort’s most challenging terrain.

For the 2026-27 season, Jackson Hole will continue to manage daily mountain capacity and require reservations from Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective passholders.
Guests who book qualifying lodging and activities through Jackson Hole Resort Reservations can also receive an air credit of up to $500 per person, for a maximum of four people or $2,000 per family. Blackout dates apply.
The resort recommends purchasing lift tickets early, both to secure the lowest available prices and to maximize date availability.
