Stage 8, Sisteron to Nice, 171.9km / 1,420m+
After the highs of Mont Ventoux, stage 8 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift stays low.
This stage into Nice is the longest and flattest of the nine-day race, and also the most guaranteed to end in a bunch sprint.
After the mid-stage climb of the Col de Toutes Aures, the peloton points directly downhill nearly all the way to a spectacular finish on the Côte d’Azur.
Two Cat. 4 climbs arrive in the final 10km, but they’re basically speed bumps. Good luck getting rid of Lorena Wiebes. With the way she has dominated every sprint stage so far, she’s the safe pick to win. The onus is on other teams to devise a strategy to dethrone her.
- Start Time: 7:40 a.m. Eastern
- Estimated Finish Time: 11:43 a.m. Eastern
