Stage 7, 146.8km / 3,500m+: La Voulte-Sur-Rhône – Mont Ventoux
Stage 7, it’s the moment that we’ve all been waiting for. The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will climb the mythical Mont Ventoux for the first time on this centerpiece stage of the race.
And better still, the bunch will race the “Géant of Provence” via the Bedoin approach.
With an average 9 percent gradient over 16 unrelenting kilometers, it’s rated one of the toughest climbs in European road racing. It certainly blows away the other historic climbs tackled in the Femmes – Alpe d’Huez, Col du Tourmalet, and Col du Madeleine.
This stage is guaranteed to reshape the GC standings. Don’t be surprised to see multi-minute gaps between the favorites as they winch their way up the lunar white upper slopes. Don’t miss it.
- Start Time: 6:50 a.m. Eastern
- Estimated Finish: 11:17 a.m. Eastern
