Vans’ Darkened-up Authentic Sneaker Makes Quiet Luxury Cool
For as big and bold as Vans likes to play it, the skate house is ridiculously good at simple black sneakers.
Add Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood to the mix, and you get a delectably dark Authentic 44 sneaker that’s betting it all on black to astounding results. Though, you can’t really go wrong with a black sneaker, so it’s hardly a gamble on Vans’ end.
And even though suede doesn’t really shine, Vans still found a way to make the soft sneaker sparkle.

In addition to the all-black colorway, Vans is also dropping an all-white version as well. Both colorways will be available on the Vans website for $120 on August 7.
