Stage 5, Mâcon to Belleville-en-Beaujolais 140km / 2,850m

The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift returns to the hills with an Ardennes-style burner of a stage that could reignite the GC battle. Seven categorized climbs are packed into 140km, meaning this one could blow up the race.

The finale is especially selective. The Category 2 Mont Brouilly (3km at 7.7 percent) comes just 20km from the finish and is steep enough to trigger attacks before the run into Belleville-en-Beaujolais.

That’s an ideal launch pad for Demi Vollering or Paula Blasi. Could this stage turn the GC upside down even before the first real climbs?

  • Start time: 7:45 a.m. Eastern
  • Estimated Finish: 11:41 a.m. Eastern
