They headed to the location with a group of friends, with the set boasting two unreleased songs, a cover of Slim Dusty’s ‘Lights On The Hill’, and some fan favourites. A tracklist has not yet been revealed.

Truth Or Consequence is described as “intimate, loose and full of fun”, while capturing Amyl & The Sniffers “in a way audiences have never seen before”. The film is also interspersed with some candid behind-the-scenes moments.

“The hope for this record is that it is listened to as it was made, in a ruckus exclamation between a cherished group of friends,” the band said in a statement.

Directed by John Angus Stewart, the concert film will be shown at some limited theatrical screenings in the UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia at the end of this month and into September. Find the full list here.

Amyl & The Sniffers released their third and latest album, ‘Cartoon Darkness’, in 2024. They’ll play some UK and European shows this month, including a slot at All Points East presents Outbreak in London supporting Deftones, and a set at Bristol’s Forwards Festival.

Last year saw the group head to the capital’s Alexandra Palace for their biggest headline gig yet. The Aussie outfit also performed on the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2025, opened for Fontaines D.C. in London’s Finsbury Park, and made appearances at Reading & Leeds.

During an interview with NME in 2024, frontwoman Amy Taylor opened up about finding her political voice in recent years. “I was intimidated by politics,” she admitted.

“I didn’t grow up around it that much. I finished high school, but barely. It’s really easy to feel kind of ashamed of yourself for not being sure how to get your foot in it, or to get the confidence to speak out about stuff.”

The singer told NME she was wary of “isolating” those who are politically unengaged, but said she stood against right-wingers opposed to “basic social caring” on the basis that it’s ‘woke’: “A lot of people are anti-people and they’re actually the snowflakes.”

Earlier this year, Taylor contributed to the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man soundtrack with the original song ‘Nobody’s Son’.
