After missing on LeBron, Cavaliers agree to deal with EuroLeague star Mario Hezonja

The deal comes just days after LeBron James chose to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers rather than return to Cleveland, which drafted him No. 1 in 2003.

Hezonja was drafted No. 5 in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. He averaged 6.9 points per game across five seasons for the Magic, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers.

The 6-foot-8 forward has played for multiple teams in Europe since 2021, most recently for Real Madrid, where he averaged 17.5 points per game last season.
