It’s always exciting when top talent from different industries meet up and worlds collide. On Friday, Fanatics brought together a slew of huge names for the company’s Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York City.
It would take a while to name all of the important people who were in attendance, from legendary professional athletes to high-profile music artists to entertainment linchpins, it was a who’s who of notable names. Firmly standing out above the rest, like he always does, was Lionel Messi.
The soccer GOAT is currently preparing with Argentina to face Spain in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. With the final taking place in New Jersey, Fanatics was able to get Messi on stage to answer some questions. He was joined by manager Lionel Scaloni and teammate Emiliano Martinez, while Spain’s Rodri and Luis de la Fuente were on the other side.

It’s genuinely one of the most surreal photos taken in recent times. One user even commented that he would have believed it was AI if he didn’t know Fanatics Fest was happening.
