According to Kronthaler, despite the challenge of shooting in intense 41-degree Celsius heat, Teller and creative partner Dovile Drizyte captured a striking visual series where Rococo revival giltwood furnishings, Art Deco-inspired cabinetry, nd richly upholstered textiles frame the seasonal collection.
The visuals showcase a dramatic juxtaposition between classical Italian interior design and Vivienne Westwood’s signature subverted tailoring. Set against gold damask, gilded Rococo settees, and trompe-l’œil architectural wallpaper, the wardrobe unfolds across a series of staged salons, studies, and boudoirs. The collection highlights dark, sharply felted tailoring disrupted by vibrant flashes of color, layered alongside structured Harris Tweed coats and draped dresses that intentionally reveal exposed seams and stockings.
