The 2026 BSB season has been dominated by Ducati riders, who have taken all 12 race wins so far; to keep up, Yamaha’s Bradley Ray is pushing himself to new limits.

2022 BSB champion Ray is the leading non-Ducati rider in the championship, but 61 points behind Kyle Ryde at the top of the standings after four rounds.

Brands Hatch hosts the fifth round of the championship this weekend (17–19 July), and Ray says he is pushing as hard as he ever has in order to try to take the fight to the Ducatis.

“I’m looking forward to getting back aboard the McAMS Yamaha R1 at Brands Hatch this weekend – it’s a local circuit for me, and one that I’ve always enjoyed racing at,” said Bradley Ray ahead of the Brands Hatch BSB.

“I know within myself that I haven’t ever ridden as hard as I’m riding at the moment, we’re pushing so close to the limit every weekend to secure the results that we are, and with a comfortable feeling aboard the R1 I’m confident that we can do the same again this weekend.

“The Brands Hatch weekend will be a pivotal one for the championship, so we’ll aim for consistency at the top end of the field and bring home a solid set of results.

“We’re ready again to give it our all, and we’ve got all the tools we need to fight for wins and podiums.

“This weekend, we’ll also be running a special edition livery across the three races in celebration of 30 Years of BSB, which adds another element of excitement heading into the weekend. It’s going to be a big one.”
