Ja Morant Closes A Chapter With The Nike Ja 3 “Wolf Grey”

The Ja Morant era in Memphis is officially over. The Grizzlies have gone into full rebuild mode, sending their former franchise cornerstone to Portland for two players and zero draft picks, a transaction that would have seemed borderline insulting just a few seasons back. For Nike, though, there are worse landing spots. Morant now becomes the first active Nike signature athlete to suit up for the Trail Blazers since Scottie Pippen in the early 2000s, playing his home games a half hour from the Philip H. Knight campus in Beaverton.

But Ja’s team isn’t the only thing changing. The Nike Ja 3 is winding down to make room for the Ja 4, and Morant himself has confirmed that the Ja 3 “Team Bank” collection will serve as the model’s farewell. Here we have official images of the Nike Ja 3 “Wolf Grey,” the titular hue washing over the midsole and upper logo detailing. The mesh portion cleans up in white, while the Swooshes are done in black.
