U.S. Ski & Snowboard has unveiled its 2026-27 US Ski World Cup schedule, featuring a record 13 events across 10 venues, the most in the organization’s history, covering FIS domestic World Cup events across six disciplines.

The season spans alpine, freeski, freestyle, Para snowboard, ski jumping, and snowboard disciplines. Competition runs from Thanksgiving weekend through late March 2027.

US Ski World Cup Schedule Opens With Thanksgiving Doubleheader

The season begins November 28-29 with a doubleheader. The Stifel Killington Cup returns to Vermont after a brief absence, hosting women’s giant slalom and slalom. Across the country, Copper Mountain, Colorado, launches the Stifel Copper Cup with men’s super-G and giant slalom.

Nearly 40,000 fans typically attend the Killington event, making it one of the most-watched stops on the domestic circuit.

Beaver Creek Hosts Biggest Birds of Prey in Event History

Beaver Creek, Colorado, hosts the Stifel Birds of Prey across two consecutive weekends in December, the biggest edition of the event in its history.

The men compete December 3-6 with two downhills, a super-G, and a giant slalom. The women follow December 11-13 with two downhills and a super-G, marking their second appearance at Birds of Prey.

“Hosting seven World Cup races across two weekends on one of the sport’s most iconic courses speaks to Beaver Creek’s legacy as a premier venue for alpine racing,” Bobby Murphy, COO of Beaver Creek, said.

Toyota U.S. Grand Prix and Freestyle Events

The Toyota U.S. Grand Prix circuit runs through December and wraps February 27-28 at Aspen Snowmass’ Buttermilk venue, featuring slopestyle and halfpipe. Copper Mountain hosts halfpipe December 19-20, while a third slopestyle venue is still to be confirmed.

Freestyle events take place across three venues in January. Lake Placid, New York, hosts aerials January 16-17. Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, holds moguls and dual moguls January 22-23. Deer Valley, Utah, closes the freestyle domestic schedule January 28-30 with moguls, dual moguls, and aerials. This year marks Deer Valley’s 30th year of hosting elite international ski competition.

Ski Jumping and Para Snowboard

Lake Placid returns to the ski jumping calendar February 6-7 for the Stifel Lake Placid Ski Jumping Cup, featuring individual and mixed team events on the HS128 hill, the venue’s third World Cup appearance.

Steamboat Springs, Colorado, hosts the Toyota Para Snowboard Cup for the third consecutive year, with a date in March to be confirmed.

US Ski World Cup Schedule Concludes at Sun Valley Finals

The domestic schedule concludes March 20-25, 2027, at the Stifel Sun Valley Finals presented by Cloudflare in Sun Valley, Idaho. The event gathers the world’s top 25 men and women in each alpine discipline. It will be the second time in three seasons that Sun Valley has hosted the FIS World Cup Finals.

“With 13 events across the country, our athletes will have incredible opportunities to compete in front of family, friends, and passionate fans,” U.S. Ski & Snowboard President and CEO Sophie Goldschmidt said.
