Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember makes a scorching debut at the Xbox Games Showcase, set to release in early 2027
Long time no see.

Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember has been revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase. It’s releasing in early 2027 for the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement came alongside a new trailer, which showed off cinematics as well as a healthy chunk of gameplay too. In it, we see some proper meaty swordplay on display, as well as more fantastical elements on display.
The game is set in a war-torn Three Kingdoms era China, where demons and legendary heroes from the time are shown. We even see one of those heroes clear as day as a stinger for the trailer! So, it looks like more of what people loved from the first game.
The first Wo Long was a really decent Team Ninja game released back in 2023, which garnered its own fanbase enraptured with its particular style of hardcore melee combat. So, a sequel is a nice surprise from an already packed showcase.
