For 10 days this June, Olympic Valley is set to become the undisputed global hub for trail running. Palisades Tahoe recently announced a historic consolidation of three major events — the Broken Arrow Skyrace, the debut of TrailCon, and the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run — into a single 10-day marathon of mountain culture and athletic competition.
According to an official press release from Palisades Tahoe on Thursday, the festivities kick off from June 18 through June 27. Patrick Lacey, the resort’s PR manager, noted that hosting such a convergence of talent and community energy is a “truly special” moment for the mountain, emphasizing that the resort is a natural home for the bold adventures the trail running community seeks.

Broken Arrow Skyrace (June 18-21): Presented by ACG, this four-day festival includes nine distinct race distances. Runners will navigate high-alpine challenges, including technical ridgelines and snowfields, while the Village at Palisades Tahoe serves as a social basecamp featuring films, yoga sessions, and panels.

TrailCon (June 22-24): Filling the gap between races, this new event presented by On functions as the sport’s educational and networking core. With over 30 panels led by industry icons and a massive vendor village featuring more than 100 brands, the event aims to highlight innovation in apparel and equipment. All activities are free to the public, concluding with the TrailCon Awards presented by Nike ACG.

Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run (June 25-27): Perhaps the most legendary component of the lineup, the world’s oldest 100-mile trail race begins its historic journey at Palisades Tahoe. Presented by HOKA, this event draws elite endurance athletes and thousands of supporters to the starting line in Olympic Valley before they embark on the rugged trek toward Auburn, California.
