Steve Lacy – “the feeling”

The savant of subtle vibrance himself, Steve Lacy, returns with a decadent new single “the feeling”. The tune sees Lacy do what Lacy does better – rich, buttery vocals, whimsy grooves, and characterful, compelling songwriting. He’ll release Oh yeah?, his third studio record via RCA Records, on 17th July, a work that’s set to be his most personal to date.

Role Model – “High Hopes 3000”

Tucker knows we could use some “High Hopes 3000” – luckily, he’s returned with a new single just in time. This feel-good, country-twanged jingle comes as the first release ahead of the announcement of his forthcoming album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass. Though he’s clearly basking in that Southern air that he dabbled in on his debut album, Kansas Anymore, here he’s letting loose. It’s free-spirited and hopeful, lyrically and vocally bouncing between song and spoken word, embracing this newness “until the walls fall off”.

Nia Archives – “Vertical”

Jungle darling Nia Archives returns with “Vertical,” the new single from her forthcoming album Emotional Junglist. Drawing inspiration from Madonna’s Ray of Light and Björk, the track arrives alongside an accompanying video shot at nighttime in New York City, following the artist as she makes her way home post-rave, during the honeymoon phase of romantic infatuation.

Vince Staples – “Cotton”

Long Beach-hailing artist Vince Staples is switching things up “Cotton”, the most recent release from his sixth-studio album, City Baby, out today. Marking his independence with this new record via his own imprint, he takes a daring sonic pivot. It’s catchy and convicting, gritty and groovy. On this drum-driven track, he implores you to dance and move until you can no more — perhaps how Vince is feeling at the kickstart of this new adventure.

Joe James – “Back Together”

One of Britain’s best musical hidden gems, Joe James has been quietly putting together a startlingly consistent body of music over the past decade. It’s only now, however, where Joe announces his long-awaited debut album. The Ends, Never Ends will be shared on 10th July via Neighbourhood, and will feature the likes of Loyle Carner, Hak Baker and Dave. We’ve got a teaser track too, “Back Together”, a track that weaves intricate wordplay and emotional gusto into a loose, jazzy musical backdrop.

horsegiirL – “That’s My Beach”

horsegiirL shares “that’s my beach,” the latest single from her debut album NATURE IS HEALING, out today, arriving alongside a surreal and playful video co-directed by horsegiirL, Enantios Dromos, and Rosario Bohio. Inspired by a sun-soaked day on a Brazilian beach, the visual follows horsegiirL as she encounters a mysterious half-woman, half-seahorse creature, capturing the album’s themes of connection, nature, and whimsical romance through a dreamlike beachside fever dream.

Skrillex – “Cheeni”

If you were worried about whether or not you were going to short of summer bangers, fear not because Skrillex just came to save the day with his latest album SOMA. “Cheeni” with Naisha sounds very cute – subtle high-pitched vocals, trancey loops and bright bells and drums that create a fun stop and start atmosphere.

Radio Free Alice – “Lunch Money”

One of the most exciting guitar bands to emerge in the last few years have put pen to paper on a major deal with Atlantic Records. There’s a lot of music to come from Radio Free Alice, but for now we’ve got a massive launching single from the Naarm/Melbourne quartet; “Lunch Money” roars and rages, croons and cracks, a scratchy, rousing, razor-sharp indie anthem.

Taylor Swift – “I Knew It, I Knew You”

Taylor Swift is unlocking a new love story with her exclusive single “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Disney Pixar’s fifth instalment in the Toy Story franchise. Written and produced alongside her long-term collaborator Jack Antonoff, she doubles down on her country roots in this swinging tune inspired by the film’s loveable cowgirl, Jessie — a character after her own heart.

Tokyo Tea Room – “Eyes Off You”

Tokyo Tea Room return with “Eyes Off You,” a new single that blends dreamy melodies, hypnotic grooves, and themes of desire, longing and infatuation. The release marks the latest chapter for the Margate quintet as they prepare to embark on an extensive UK, European, and North American tour following a rapid rise that has seen their catalogue surpass 100 million streams.

7ebra – “Dinner And A Movie”

Swedish twin-sister duo 7ebra return with “Dinner and a Movie,” the first single from their second album How To Land a Plane, due September 25. Expanding from a minimalist guitar line into a taut indie-pop anthem, the track explores the shame and regret that follow a night of excess, introducing the album with the pair embracing a more emotionally open and ambitious sound while navigating the uncertainties of adulthood.

Ledbyher – “Dirty Rumours”

After a game-changing mixtape that really put her on the map, Ledbyher is back with a brand new track “Dirty Rumours” featuring the legendary cloud rap architect Clams Casino. Bumping bass, nu-wave jerk vibes and ethereal drums create the perfect backdrop for her hypnotic vocals.

de clair – “naming you”

Swedish artist is all about the double with the release of singles “naming you” and “swim in illyria”. Her writing is both foreign yet familiar; championing her own stories, you can’t help but find some solace in them. Navigating grief, loneliness, disappointment and, ultimately, lovely to an indie-folk melody, glittered over with her soft soprano-esque vocals, she encases you in a celestial-feeling state of reverie with these tracks.

kid apollo – “i let the sun back in”

kid apollo is bringing that adolescent excitement back to London’s music scene and their latest track “i let the sun back in” serves as great proof. Starting the track off with feverish excitement, the beat eventually catches up to that rush that feels like an adrenaline spike before we hear the imperfectly perfect guitar strums that are met with the rugged chorus. This one will hook you in a second.

Chloé Caillet ft. Myd – “Lemme Dance”

Chloé Caillet releases “Lemme Dance,” a new energetic single featuring Myd. With infectious melodies, and feel-good club rhythms, the track embodies the spirit of communal release and dancefloor connection, marking another step in Caillet’s rise as one of electronic music’s most in-demand DJs, producers, and cultural tastemakers.

LUXE – “flow, out”

Inhale, exhale. Breathe in, “flow, out”. London-based producer and composer DJ LUXE brings the orchestra to the club with this strings-fused instrumental. Starting out with a rippling echo, it descends into a vortex-like symphony of electro-led syncopation. The result is euphoric yet energising, becoming an instrument to lose yourself to entirely.

myohmy – “berlin”

Emerging indie group myohmy are going side-for-side on their double releases, “berlin” and “broken”. Together, the London-based four-piece band, made up of Tycho Jones, Amelia Lawn, Jagun and Sian Lynch, welcome you into this synth-led, alt-pop abyss that embraces the dark and cinematic — and somehow makes a point of the beauty within it all.

Lucy Park – “Dizzy”

London alternative R&B artist Lucy Park continues her incendiary run of form with “Dizzy” – a raw, intimate attempt to understand the disorientation of a new city and a new relationship. Soft and potent, her subject matter is matched by the visuals, shot entirely in a pool of water’s reflection, adding to the warped sense of distance and uncertainty that Lucy tries to calm and clarify.

Slim ft. Rimzee – “4AM”

With the release of his newest mixtape, “The Final Call”, out today, Slim from Lewisham traces his “4AM” hustles. As he stories memories of his come-up, he lyrically blazes against a thumping hip-hop melody. Enlisting the help of East London’s Rimzee, the two go bar for bar on this track that expands the Slim-verse he’s steadily building — one stirred with rich, raw storytelling and beats that both honour and distort tradition.

Dopesmoke (67) – “True Flavours”

Drill general Dopesmoke shows there’s still life in the UK scene. A member of 67, one of the pioneering collectives of the genre, the South Londoner pulls through with “True Flavours”, an ominous anthem with all the classic drill goodness – ferocious bars, booming 808s, and intoxicating sampling.

SunnyBoyFitz – “All I Need” (Video)

SunnyBoyFitz, London’s hottest emerging creative force, resurfaces with a brand new video for “All I Need”. The track is taken from his debut mixtape, “Copyright Kid”, which recaptures the energy and unfiltered creative chaos that characterised the early 2000s as such an epochal period for British music as a whole. Whether it’s the sampling palette of vocal chops or channelling the DIY chaos of Channel U, the universe Sunny inhabits on “Copyright Kid” draws from a collective consciousness of those that honour the scene before the commercialism.

KLEM – “Say Yes”

Independent artist KLEM dares to “Say Yes” to love with this equally heart-wrenching and heart-soothing electro-lined ballad. Her first single release of the year, it’s an earnest account of choosing yourself to choose love and fighting to find the silver lining amidst bleakness. That cascading bass riff towards the song’s end feels like goosebumps arising – which is exactly how the track feels, and sometimes…failing love.
