Since its start in Southern California in the 1970s, performance wear brand Oakley has always gone against the grain. The label was founded by a frustrated motorcycle parts distributor who craved his own path, and that same spirit of resistance shows up in the brand’s designs today. Whether it’s through eyewear, Oakley’s main claim to fame, or apparel, the brand’s pieces fuse clean designs with protection from the elements. 

This spring sees the launch of the new Field Gear Line Collection, which was designed in Japan and built to weather a range of conditions. Among the collection are pieces like the Stealth Jacket and Stealth Pant, along with protective gear like the AP Vest. For warmer environments, there are also breathable items like the Slick Crew and Factor Shorts, designed to help wearers stay cool. 

To accompany the Field Gear Line Collection, Oakley fans can also now get their hands on reimagined versions of the brand’s eyewear, including the new Plantaris SQ, Neoforma and Terraforma. Together, the newly released capsule collection and fresh frames create a wardrobe that, for the adventure-obsessed, covers all the necessary bases.
