For most of North America, the 2025-26 ski season will be one to forget. Snowpack was well below average across much of the western United States, and even Colorado and Utah had their worst years ever recorded. Forecasters are calling for some accumulation over the next couple of weeks, but nothing significant enough to change the narrative. The season is winding down, and when it comes to the snowiest ski resorts 2025-26 has offered, the numbers are largely set.
Still, a handful of resorts bucked the trend in a big way. From the Cascades to the Canadian Rockies to the peaks of Alaska and Vermont, these nine resorts piled up snowfall totals that would hold up in any year. All figures below come directly from each resort’s own reporting. Worth noting that a few mountains that might otherwise have featured here, including Shames Mountain, Whitewater, and Powder King in British Columbia, don’t publish season totals on their websites, so they’ve been left out of the rankings.
With that caveat in mind, here are the nine snowiest ski resorts in North America this season (so far).
