NECROT Signs To Metal Blade, Is Working On A New Album

Oakland death metal trio Necrot have officially signed to Metal Blade Records, marking a major milestone for one of the underground’s most consistently revered acts.

The announcement signals a new chapter for the band, who have spent the past 15 years carving out their own path in death metal – and arrives just ahead of their appearance on the Decibel Magazine Tour 2026.

Speaking on the signing, the band said: “It is extremely exciting to announce that Necrot has signed with Metal Blade Records! We’ve been a band for 15 years making death metal the way we want to and Metal Blade has been here for almost 45 years supporting extreme metal bands from all over the world.

“We feel confident that this new chapter will be great for us and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on for our next album! We are looking forward to seeing you guys on our upcoming tour, 30 dates across the US and Canada… and of course, stay tuned for more announcements from Necrot and Metal Blade!”

Necrot‘s move to Metal Blade places them alongside one of the genre’s most influential labels – a fitting home as they prepare to unveil new material. On the live front, the band will join a stacked bill for the Decibel Magazine Tour, sharing stages with Canadian tech-death legends Cryptopsy, Italy’s gore-obsessed Fulci, and rising grinders Blood Monolith.
