Summary

  • Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet has officially unveiled its first AP House in Miami Beach, marking the brand’s second overall location in the city

  • Designed in collaboration with Miami-based Studio DADO, the sprawling 7,300-square-foot space merges the heritage of the Swiss village of Le Brassus with modern coastal aesthetics

  • Serving as an intimate, home-like environment for watch aficionados, the space features a micro-museum, a dedicated vinyl listening corner, and a massive outdoor terrace

Audemars Piguet is officially expanding its highly coveted retail footprint in South Florida. The Swiss Haute Horology manufacturer has unveiled its brand-new AP House in the heart of Miami Beach, bringing its innovative, highly experiential approach to retail to the vibrant coastal city. Serving as the brand’s second location in Miami—following the opening of its Bal Harbour boutique back in 2006—the massive new space is meticulously designed to immerse guests in the rhythms, sights, and sounds that define both the iconic watchmaker and the city itself.

To bring the ambitious vision to life, Audemars Piguet tapped Miami-based design team Studio DADO. The resulting 7,300-square-foot interior space draws deep inspiration from the brand’s historic roots in the Swiss village of Le Brassus, effortlessly blending that rich heritage with Miami’s distinct flair. The luxurious interior is defined by inviting blush tones, soft edges, and rich natural materials, including stone, wood, metals, and textured glass.

Rather than a traditional retail storefront, the AP House concept was originally conceived by asking how founders Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet would entertain clients if they were traveling the world today. The result is a highly sophisticated, comfortable home environment that prioritizes deep relationships, hospitality, and cultural connection.

Guests navigating the sprawling space will discover a curated micro-museum showcasing the brand’s finest timepieces, alongside a dedicated watchmaker’s hutch where collectors can consult with experts and browse a selection of premium straps. Deepening the brand’s affinity for music and culture, the Miami location also boasts a bespoke lounge complete with a dedicated listening corner featuring a record player and hand-selected iconic vinyl albums.

Elevating the aesthetic experience even further, the space acts as a gallery for contemporary art, showcasing ceramic sculptures by Brazilian artist Sallisa Rosa and additional works graciously lent by Geneva’s Wilde Gallery. The seamless indoor-outdoor flow culminates in a spacious outdoor terrace wrapped in blush terrazzo, offering the perfect backdrop for relaxed, inspired discussions over high-end horology.

Joining an exclusive global network of AP Houses in cities like London, Tokyo, New York, and Milan, the new Miami Beach location continues Audemars Piguet’s ongoing mission to create intimate spaces that transcend traditional retail and actively celebrate global culture.
