As promised, the powers that be at Capcom have released an update for Resident Evil Requiem, which along with other fixes and such also adds the much-requested photo mode, so you can really capture all those nasties in their bloody glory (or, you could just take pics of Leon and Grace, your call).

As well as the addition of photo mode, this patch also adjusts some character expressions in certain cutscenes, which Capcom says will help “better convey emotion”, and a number of localisation fixes.

Earlier this month, the Resident Evil series celebrated its 30th anniversary. At this time, Resident Evil series executive producer Jun Takeuchi promised us all that “even more wonderful experiences” are coming.

Something we know still to be coming for Requiem specifically is additional story content. As announced by director Koshi Nakanishi, this new story expansion will “delve deeper into the world of Requiem” when it arrives (though, alas, we don’t yet know when that will be).
