For as simple as the act of riding a bicycle is, cycling hasn’t always been the most welcoming community to all riders. That was the genesis of All Bodies on Bikes, a grassroots movement turned global community dedicated to making cycling more inclusive and affirming for riders of all sizes.
The new short film, “We Are Cyclists,” continues the story of All Bodies on Bikes, picking up five years after the release of the original All Bodies on Bikes film. It reflects on how what began as a bold declaration, that people of all sizes deserve space, joy, and visibility in cycling, has since grown into a thriving nonprofit with 14 chapters across the United States and a global community that continues to expand year after year.
