Summary

  • MING introduces the 57.04 Phoenix, a destro monopusher chronograph with a sculptural Art Deco-inspired case
  • Limited to 150 pieces in 2026, it features a multiphasic dial, luminous detailing and approx 60-hour power reserve
  • Available via MING in a rubber strap or polymesh bracelet

Independent watchmaker MING has officially introduced the MING 57.04 Phoenix, expanding its fifth-generation lineup following the colorful success of its predecessor, the 57.04 Iris.

Designed as a destro monopusher chronograph, the Phoenix places its crown and single pusher on the left side. Its dial features a deeply dished grey surface with radial cutouts that reveal a multiphasic, color-shifting baseplate, creating a dynamic interplay of texture, shadow, and luminous accents. Showcasing the brand’s unconventional case construction, the watch features multi-piece stepped lugs – requiring nine separate components just for the lugs alone – to achieve a sharp, alternating brushed and polished finish that would otherwise be impossible.

To ensure optimal legibility, the dial features diamond-cut hands alongside MING’s signature luminous accents, combining MING Polar White and Super-LumiNova X1. Powering this highly textured destro (left-handed) chronograph is the manually wound Sellita for MING Cal. SW562.M1 movement. Visible through the open caseback, the customized caliber sports a rhodinized mainplate with a sculpted anthracite three-quarter plate and delivers approximately 60 hours of power reserve at full wind.

Availability is limited to 150 pieces, with pricing set at 6,250 CHF (approx. $8,085 USD) on the grey FKM rubber strap and 7,250 CHF (approx. $9,379 USD) on the titanium Polymesh bracelet. The Phoenix is available through MING’s official website and authorized retail partners.
