The El Tony Crew Clash is back for round two, heading to Gran Masta Park from 31 March to 4 April. Crew Clash brings together skiers and snowboarders from across the scene for a crew-based video battle focused on creativity, community and style. New this year: a wildcard team spot and public voting on the final edits.
What is Crew Clash?
The format stays refreshingly simple: invite a handful of ski and snowboard crews, give them four days to film, and see who can produce the best edit. This year, 30 riders and filmers will take part across four invited teams plus one wildcard crew, all competing for 16,000 CHF in prize money. Instead of judges picking apart tricks, the riders vote on each other’s videos, with fans also able to weigh in through a public vote.
Crews have complete freedom on how they film, leaving plenty of room for creativity, storytelling and style, whether that’s stacking park clips in Gran Masta Park or heading out onto the mountain for something more outside the box.
One of the event’s defining features is its mixed crews, bringing together skiers and snowboarders, men and women on the same teams—making the whole week feel more like a collaborative session than a traditional contest.
Wannabe Captain Wildcard
This year there’s also a chance to get involved. The “Wannabe Captain” contest will give one rider the opportunity to lead their own wildcard crew at Crew Clash. To apply, post a 60-second video on Instagram, tag @el_tony_mate and @el_tony_sports, and use #wannabecaptaincrewclash26 before 15 March.
Public Day & Premiere
On Saturday 4 April, the event wraps up with a Public Day session in Gran Masta Park, where anyone can ride alongside the crews.
That evening, the finished edits will premiere at Adelboden Cinema at 19:30, followed by the awards ceremony and public vote. Entry is free. Afterwards, the celebrations move to the official afterparty at UNICO (16+).
Four days, five crews and total creative freedom—Crew Clash continues to be one of the more interesting formats on the spring calendar.
