Spring Passes Now on Sale at Banff Sunshine Village, AB

Banff Sunshine Village, Alberta, has officially launched its Spring Passes to make spring skiing just a little more tempting in the Canadian Rockies. The pass unlocks 72 days of skiing and riding, running from March 8 through the May Long Weekend, making it one of the longest spring ski windows in North America. The late-season product is designed for skiers who want to chase soft snow, longer daylight hours, and the lively atmosphere that comes with springtime on the slopes.

• Adult Spring Pass: $727
• Senior Spring Pass: $537
• Student Spring Pass: $457
• Youth Spring Pass: $397
• Child Spring Pass: $197

Spring passes provide unlimited skiing and riding during the valid period, with no blackout dates on the regular pass. Midweek pass holders can still ski weekends at a discount, receiving $40 off the daily window rate if they visit Friday through Sunday.

In addition, all season pass holders can use their Buddy Tickets to score $40 off window tickets, either for themselves or for friends, with a limit of two discounted tickets per day.

Passholders also receive access to the resort’s spring events calendar, which ramps up as the season progresses. The lineup includes the new Red Bull Jump and Freeze, where contestants attempt to skim across an icy pond in homemade contraptions and costumes. Other returning favourites include Holy Bowly, ShredAbility, concerts at the Goat Club, and the legendary Slush Cup finale on May Long Weekend.

For even more fun, starting March 13, lifts will also run 30 minutes longer, extending the ski day as daylight increases.

For many locals and diehard skiers, spring is the most fun time to ride in the Rockies. With sunny skies, soft snow, and a packed event schedule, a Sunshine Spring Pass might be the easiest way to squeeze in a few more turns before summer arrives.
