Heli-skiing in Alaska sits at the very top of many skiers’ lifetime bucket lists—endless glaciated terrain, deep maritime snowpacks, and dramatic spines rising straight from the sea. This spring, a small number of remaining seats are still available for a guided trip with professional freeskier and SnowBrains founder Miles Clark through Pulseline Adventure, which has one available window left on April 11-18.

Pulseline Adventure operates deep in Alaska’s Chugach Mountains near Valdez, one of the most iconic heli-ski regions in the world. The company is among only a handful permitted to access forest service terrain in this zone, which is known for its massive snowfall totals, complex glaciated terrain, and comparatively wind-protected aspects that often preserve powder conditions long after storms.

The upcoming April 11-18 program is a seven-day, all-inclusive freeskier package designed for strong intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders. The trip includes approximately four hours of helicopter flight time per guest, lodging in Valdez, guided skiing with Clark and Pulseline’s certified guides, daily lunches, several group dinners, safety equipment, and ground transportation during the stay.

Pulseline owner Gabe Monroe has previously described the terrain as offering “copious amounts of snow pasted repeatedly onto some of the steepest and most aesthetic mountains in the world,” with a wide variety of slope angles and exposure options that allow guides to tailor each day to group ability and conditions. Spring is typically considered one of the most reliable periods for heli-skiing in Alaska, with longer daylight hours, more stable weather windows, and a deep, consolidated snowpack. Conditions often range from classic cold powder at higher elevations to smooth corn snow on sun-affected aspects later in the season.

Only a limited number of seats remain open for the April 11-18 trip, and groups or individuals interested in joining are encouraged to inquire soon as space is filled on a first-come basis. Pulseline Adventure runs heli-ski programs throughout the late winter and spring, and Miles Clark is scheduled to guide multiple trips this season. Additional details, pricing information, and booking inquiries are available directly through Pulseline Adventure.
