RAYE unveils a show-stopping ballad, Gorillaz reach the summit, and Yeat and EsDeeKid cross-pollinate: it’s Wonderlist!

RAYE – “Nightingale Lane.”
Ahead of vying for two awards at tomorrow’s BRIT Awards, RAYE returns with the latest look at her forthcoming new album, THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.. The new single, “Nightingale Lane.” is an personal and potent ballad of soaring vocals and emotional depth.
Gorillaz – “The Sad God”
Wonderland cover stars Gorillaz have finally shared their ninth studio album, a sprawling, sensational body of music that’s some of their best work in decades. Closer “The Sad God” is emblematic of the album’s piercing themes of loss, growth and collaboration, featuring Black Thought, Ajay Prasanna and Anoushka Shankar.
Yeat & EsDeeKid – “Made It On Our Own”
Plucked from his forthcoming album, ADL (A Dangerous Lyfe), rage rap heavyweight Yeat has brought together one of the most interesting collaborations of the year so far. “Made It On Our Own” features Liverpool’s viral star EsDeeKid, and is a cross-pollination of styles that works far better than it has any right to.

Bold polymath underscores announces her new album, U, and shares a latest teaser single from the anticipated body of work. “Tell me (U Want It)” is both assessible and broodingly off-kilter in its gently glitchy synths, accompanied by a lo-fi spy thriller video.
Melanie Martinez – “DISNEY PRINCESS”
Multi-platinum artist Melanie Martinez returns with “Disney Princess,” from her forthcoming album HADES. The track questions society’s commodification of women with wit, reframing the idea of “selling your soul” as something far more insidious, while immersing listeners in Martinez’s dystopian, cinematic universe. Always true to her singular vision, the New York-born Latin-American singer, songwriter, and director blurs the lines between reality and fantasy, asserting her reign over alternative pop, creating music that is confrontational, and very much her own.
Quiet Light – “Berlin”
With ethereal and tender vocals that cut through the sparse sonic backdrop, Austin artist and producer Quiet Light is once again showing her fiercely creative and emotionally dense musical approach on “Berlin”. The stunning new single is the lead single from her forthcoming mixtape, “Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2”.
Pollyfromthedirt – “Don’t shoot now”
Cerebral and murky, Pollyfromthedirt steps deeper into electronica with his latest single, “Don’t shoot now”. Arriving with the announcement of a new EP next month, the Darlington enigma continues to prove why he is one of the most compelling new artists in Britain right now.
Swapmeet – “I Know!”
Rising Australian four-piece Swapmeet’s new single “I Know!” is a cathartic, buoyant track arriving ahead of their US debut at SXSW this March. Gleaming, fuzzy guitars and energetic percussion drive the song, which blurs jangle pop, shoegaze, and alt-rock with a playful spontaneity, the result of an accidental in-between practice jam.
American Football – “Bad Moons”
Midwest-rock legends American Football have returned with “Bad Moons,” an eight-minute, capitvating single from their forthcoming fourth studio album American Football (LP4). This track merges two separate demos into one journey: delicate harp samples and guitar melodies give way to dynamic rhythms, atmospheric textures, and confessional vocals from frontman Mike Kinsella, culminating in a frenetic jam. The accompanying music video explores the turbulent passage from boyhood to manhood, mirroring the song’s oscillation between innocence and adult despair. LP4 is set to be American Football’s most ambitious album yet.

San Francisco-born, Mumbai-raised electro artist the sound chalk makes is gaining a lot of traction. After garnering the attention of digital tastemakers Welcome.Jpeg and NYC label Anemoia (responsible for unearthing The Hellp), he’s released his latest shapeshifting, nostalgia-inspired track “Manmade Manmaid”. It’s sure to get your head bumping, no matter the scenario.
MOLIY x bees & honey – “PARTYGYAL”
This one’s for the “PARTYGYAL”. MOLIY is back with a slick link-up alongside Berlin/London collective bees & honey. Blending afro-pop and afro-house into a glossy, after-hours pulse, the track finds MOLIY in full command — hedonistic, self-assured and centre stage, as she’s destined to be. Here, she’s not just main character — she’s muse.
SIPHO. ft. Nikhil & Ayeisha Raquel – “COLD WEATHER”
A dash of rain, a day of sun, but to end the week, Birmingham soul star SIPHO. reintroduces himself with “COLD WEATHER”, featuring Nikhil and Ayeisha Raquel. Stormy in tone, the track plays out like a high-speed standoff between lovers on the brink — sleek production and razor-sharp introspection. “COLD WEATHER” serves as a sobering comedown: a looming question mark over love as the stakes continue to rise.
Lola Blue – “Heartbeat”
Emerging indie artist Lola Blue is unravelling those diary secrets with her debut single “Heartbeat”. PS Hitsquad – “Chasing My Grave”
With his long-awaited album on the horizon, Peckham’s PS Hitsquad blesses us with the punk-fuelled new track “Chasing My Grave.” This tune is all about spitting bars, getting real about mortality, regret and ambition over some intense gothic guitar riffs and showing off that he’s here to make his mark on the UK rap scene.
Jayda G – “Uncomfortable”
“Uncomfortable”, the sizzling new single from Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Jayda G, is bustling with intention. It’s euphoric and dreamy, with soaring vocals surrounding the synth-laden central sonics, a track destined to be unavoidable this summer.
Grace Inspace – “Blurry”
LA-born and London-bred pop-indie artist Grace Inspace shares her new EP “Heavy Hair” and its lead single, “Blurry,” a love song featuring JDM Global. Worsleyy ft. Chimpo – “Northern Step”
Nia Archives’ Up Ya Archives label is back with its first release of the new year, this time from Manchester-based jungle producer and DJ, Worsleyy. “Northern Step” is the title-track from the rising beatsmith’s forthcoming EP, due 13th March, and is a technically savvy, limitlessly groovy production that features Chimpo.
KhakiKid – “Favela”
Irish alt rapper and singer KhakiKid enjoyed a stellar 2025, and he’s gearing up for a strong follow-up with his upcoming EP Girl Bites Dog. Our first taste is the track “Favela”, a bumpy indie track where he flows between pockets effortlessly and has a hook with impeccably smooth vocals. A pending summer tune that’s sure to make it onto countless playlists when the sun comes back out.
Rosie Carney – “Down”
Irish singer-songwriter Rosie Carney bows “Down” with the final single from her fourth studio album Doomsday… Don’t Leave Me Here, out now via cool0nline x Ultra Records. Moving beyond the hushed folk of Bare and her rework of The Bends, Carney leans into a fuller, more volatile sound, with some help from writers Ross MacDonald of The 1975 and Ed Thomas (FKA Twigs, Cat Burns, Amaarae). The result is expansive but deeply personal — a shoegaze-tinged, female rage-full express of grief and love.
Mary Ann Alexander – “Better Than This”
A SZA co-sign is not to be sniffed at, and Mary Ann Alexander’s latest track “Better Than This” is a testament to how she got on the pop star’s radar. It’s a polished R&B banger with smooth, addictive vocals atop production from Grammy-nominated British producer Linden Jay. Short ’n sweet and one for when the sun’s out.

British-Sudanese R&B and neo-soul rising star Elmiene unveils a powerful double single, “Honour” and “I Want In”, ahead of his debut album sounds for someone, due 27th March. At just 24, Elmiene has become one of contemporary R&B’s most compelling voices, blending neo-soul with his poetic lyrics, a style that has already amassed him over 148 million Spotify streams and nearly 2 million monthly listeners worldwide. The new tracks continue this trajectory, showcasing his signature depth and emotional resonance.
Zora Jones – “Make-Up Bag, Pt.1”
Barcelona’s Zora Jones wants to get you on the dance floor, and her latest plea comes in the form of her freshly released EP Angel Crisis. Filled with ass-shaking slappers, “Make-Up Bag, Pt.1” takes us back to the early 2000s, Timbaland production days with off-kilter chords and a sexy back track that’s sure to get you to the club.

Rising R&B vocalist jite returns with a sleek VHS-style visual for “limerence.” Emerging with a familiar tenderness, while weaving through luminous streets and secluded corners, the video captures the kinetic rush of love and attraction; passionate glances and a charged stillness creating a deeply poignant yet magnetic moment, as jite’s vibrant, DIY edge elevates the sonic and visual universe that surrounds her.
Tallulah Argue – “I Think I’m Gonna Love You Forever”
London-based, Toronto-born alt-pop artist Tallulah Argue returns with her confessional new single “I Think I’m Gonna Love You Forever.” This track finds the 23-year-old at her most lyrically tender, blending indie rock, twang, and camp into her self-styled country sleaze sound. With a haunting chorus, the song captures late-night heartache and the bittersweet ache of love that may never fade.
Bel Cobain – “Fucking City”
Hackney-born singer Bel Cobain’s forthcoming EP “Kizzy” lands Friday 24th April, and to mark the news, she unveils its latest, quietly devastating single, “Fucking City”. The track places her mellifluous, harmony-stacked vocals and diaristic candour front and centre. On the surface, it reads as a meditation on loneliness and love but humming beneath is a more urgent dialogue around domestic abuse. Written from the perspective of a close friend in an abusive relationship — and even the abuser’s mother — it’s intimate and unsettling but disarmingly human.
Taylr – “lie to you”
London-based musician Taylr delivers cinematic visuals for ‘lie to you’ that unfolds a love-story gone wrong. Taylr’s alternative approach to visuals and sounds are a refreshing take on the burgeoning scene which he sits within.
Truman – “PUBLIC HOUSE”
East London-born artist and poet Truman returns with “Public House,” a single from his debut album Kid Raise Kid arriving 27 March. Anchored in the atmosphere of the traditional pub, a sanctuary for the weary and a public confessional, Truman’s track fuses guitar riffs with his distinctive East End drawl, capturing both the raucous noise and the subtle subversion of its stereotypes.
