Are you running electronic shifting on any of your mountain bikes?

In 2021, we asked Singletracks readers if electronic drivetrains were a game-changer or a gimmick, and 87% said it was more than just a gimmick. Just two years later, 44% of readers reported they had an electronic drivetrain on one of their mountain bikes; the next year, that percentage was up to 51% a slim majority, but a majority nonetheless.

Still, 34% of you said you had no interest in electronic shifting. Now, a year and a half since our last survey on the topic, we want to know what, if anything, has changed!
