With new additions as wide-spanning as Ecca Vandal, Blawan and Salem, All Points East’s Outbreak day festival is set to be London’s most varied event this summer. 

Outbreak, the raw and raucous day festival, originally of Northern original but now teamed up under the All Points East umbrella, is quickly becoming the hub for fans of heavy rock, daring rap and avant-garde experimentalists. Descending on Victoria Park on 23rd August, multi-GRAMMY-winning alt metal legends Deftones had previously been announced in the esteemed headline slot, with the likes of punkers IDLES, rock group Amyl & The Sniffers, avant-garde hip hopper JPEGMAFIA, viral Liverpudlian EsDeeKid, shoegaze singer-songwriter Wisp and post-rock outfit Deafheaven all joining the vanguard. 

We’ve now been teased with more names from the line-up, and the range of styles has grown even wider. New York heavyweights Interpol have been enlisted as special guests, as well as idiosyncratic pioneers Salem, genre-busting enigma Ecca Vandal, and electronic savant Blawan, among the acts added to the eclectic entourage.
