The 2026 Grammys Red Carpet Had All the Manicure Inspiration You Need
Nail artist(s) of the year.

@byjuanalvear/Instagram
Isn’t it funny that awards season coincides with one of the most boring times to get dressed every year? While the stars are in their red carpet best, I’m in my wool sweaters, trying to figure out how to layer pants for max return on warmth/style.
It’s such a shame we can’t put all that fashion inspiration to good use right away. The nail art inspiration, though? A good mani doesn’t have to be defined by season or special event.
On Sunday, February 1, celebs appeared at the 2026 Grammy Awards sporting an array of stunning manicures that I can’t wait to copy for the rest of the winter. From Zara Larsson’s gold beaded nails to Doechii’s funky square chrome Frenchies, keep reading for the best nail art of music’s biggest night.
Doechii

Doechii’s copper-chrome square French mani came with a matching pedicure, of course. Celebrity Manicurist Rachel Sun (you’ll find her at @allhailthynail on Instagram) was in charge of both.
To get the look (fingernails, not toenails, though you too can have it all if you so choose), Sun started things off with Aprés Nails Short Square Gel-X Tips. Then, she applied two coats of the pinky nude Vintage Carnation gel polish. For the base of those French tips, she used Aprés Gel Couleur in Midnight Shadow. After they were chromed, a swipe of Aprés Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat sealed the whole deal.
“2026 we’re going harddd on pedicure designs,” shared the artist in an Instagram post. I’m looking forward to it.
Tate McRae

@byjuanalvear/Instagram
Tate McRae went classic winter for her look with a deep red, glossy almond-shaped manicure by nail artist Juan Alvear. He used the burgundy polish Bubbles Only by Essie for the one-shade wonder.
Zara Larsson

@byjuanalvear/Instagram
Alvear also tackled Zara Larsson’s manicure, using Aprés Nail products to give her a golden, bead-encrusted look that matched her glimmering golden dress. I’m not sure about midnight, but it’s definitely giving sun.
Teyana Taylor

Getty Images
Behold: A shiny manicure for one of this award season’s biggest darlings. Teyana Taylor’s heavy chrome manicure was the work of her go-to nail artist, Sarah Chue. I bet it looks really nice alongside the Golden Globe she picked up a couple weeks ago.
Olivia Dean

@eriishizu/Instagram
It’s so easy to fall in love with miss Olivia Dean—and this pretty-in-bedazzled-pink manicure by Eri Ishizu.
According to an Instagram breakdown, the artist created a custom mix of OPI’s Mod About You, Put It In Neutral, and clear/base gel polishes to get the soft hue, applying two thin coats of the polish and curing each layer under a UV lamp. She then used a layer of base coat to place the rhinestones, cured them to stick, and finished with OPI GelColor Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat for a glassy finish.
Karol G

@kimkimnails/Instagram
Nail artist Kim Truong described Karol G’s long almond-shaped manicure shade as “deep wine luxury,” and that sounds just right. It felt even more luxe when paired with her romantic hairstyle, but it’s actually super easy to copy. They used Essie gel polish in Gala-Vanting, followed by Essie Shiny Top Coat.
Lady Gaga

One of the themes of Lady Gaga’s Mayhem album is that darkness and light must coexist. This manicure is all darkness, though. The shiny, pitch black set was created by celebrity nail artist Miho Okawara and a bottle of Aprés Nail Gel Couleur in Birnam Wood.
Sophia from Katseye

Courtesy of OPI
Celebrity Nail Artist Naomi Yasuda nailed all of Katseye’s nails for the evening, including this stunning silver set for Sophia. She started things off by applying three coats of OPI GelColor in Hands in the Clouds, a shimmery and sheer white polish. Then, she added a topcoat and buffed the nails to remove any shine.
“Mix OPI Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat and OPI GelColor in Black Onyx to create a French top line and apply chrome powder,” explained Yasuda. “Add small crystals and finish with top coat.”
Hailey Bieber

@nailsbyzola/Instagram
Is it not clocking to you that she never fails in the nail art department? Instead of going for a glaze, Hailey Bieber and Zola Ganzorigt collaborated on a “match your nails with your lip combo” mani (we call that a beauty sandwich) featuring a custom brown polish shade. The warm color—which, can they bottle this up, please?—was a mixture of OPI’s Barefoot In Barcelona, Cliffside Karaoke, You Don’t Know Jacques!, and Big Apple Red topped with Super Gloss No Wipe Top Coat.
Per usual, the soft almond shape and a giant diamond ring completed the look.
Sabrina Carpenter

Getty Images
Sabrina Carpenter is another Ganzorigt muse. This time, the duo opted for a “classic French manicure with a pearly twist” to pair with the singer’s glittering custom Valentino gown. A chrome finish added a shimmering touch on top of an already super-shimmery look.
To copy the mani, you’d start with one coat of OPI GelColor Super Base Base Coat and cure it with the OPI Star Light Gel Lamp. Then, apply one coat of OPI GelColor in Put it in Airplane Mode as the base. (Fitting, given Carpenter’s flight-inspired performance.) Use OPI GelColor in Kyoto Pearl for a French tip, add a layer of OPI Chrome Effects in Tin Man Can Glaze, and seal it all up with OPI GelColor Super Gloss Top Coat.
Kehlani

@masterweenay/Instagram
Grammy winner Kehlani went for an abstract nude look by celebrity manicurist Johana Castillo and Aprés Nail.
“We started with long stiletto Gel-X tips and reshaped them almond for a slimmer, sculpted finish,” explained Castillo in a breakdown.
For the nude base, they used the shade Forgotten Film. To get that custom chrome, Castillo “mixed Extend Gel with Birnam Wood Gel Couleur, added diamonds, cured for 45 seconds in the Aprés Alpha lamp, then rubbed on gold chrome.”
The whole look was finished with Aprés Topcoat and perfect for holding an award.
Addison Rae

@kimkimnails/Instagram
She gets dolled up. Addison Rae wore a “barely-there nude” manicure complete with long, squoval tips—a look Truong described as “clean, sheer, and timeless”—to take the stage at the award show. It was made possible by just one layer of sheer beige-nude Essie Of Corset polish and a shiny top coat.
