Clipse have won Best Rap Performance for “Chains and Whips,” their song with Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams,” at the 2026 Grammys. The Let God Sort Em Out single was in competition with Cardi B’s “Outside,” Kendrick Lamar’s “TV Off” with Lefty Gunplay, Doechii’s “Anxiety,” and Tyler, the Creator’s Teezo Touchdown–assisted “Darling, I.” The duo were not on hand to accept the award. It’s their first Grammy.

Lamar has dominated the Best Rap Performance category since his 2015 win for the To Pimp a Butterfly single “I,” notching six more wins in the years since. That helped him to his massive lifetime tally of 22 Grammys before tonight’s GNX run, despite his lack of recognition in the Big Four categories until his ubiquitous Drake diss “Not Like Us” stole the show in 2025. That haul included a win in this category over two nominees he once again faced this year, Cardi B and Doechii.
