It was yet another wet test day for World Superbike in Portimao. Nicolo Bulega ended the morning fastest on a 1:59.144, 0.6 seconds ahead of Iker Lecuona. The two factory Ducati riders were the only ones to lap below the 2:00 mark on Thursday morning.

Jake Dixon was third-fastest on his primary bike and fourth-fastest with his number two bikes. WorldSBK rookie Alberto Surra completed the top-five.

With this test, the European leg of the preseason is over for WorldSBK in 2026. The field will next be on-track together at Phillip Island on 16-17 February for the final test of the winter before the Australian Round starts the season-proper on 20-22 February.
