Glow Recipe’s New Cloudberry Cream Gave Me Bouncy, Bright Skin
I’m whipped.

Glow Recipe
“Fruit-forward” used to be wine lingo, but thanks to Glow Recipe, it’s now an entire skincare category. Since launching its Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask in 2017, the sensorial skincare brand has become ubiquitous in the circles of GRWM influencers, Sephora tweenagers, and beauty editors alike. Several fruits have been It-Girl-ified thanks to Glow Recipe: strawberries, plums, avocados—and now, the cloudberry.
Building on the success of its Cloudberry Essence Toner, Glow Recipe’s newest launch, the Cloudberry Bright Moisture Cream, offers brightening and hydrating benefits with a luxurious whipped texture. Ahead, discover everything you need to know about the new Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Moisture Cream, plus my full review.
The Product

Glow Recipe
The Cloudberry Bright Moisture Cream is a creamy moisturizer that focuses on brightening and evening out skin tone while providing deep hydration for all skin types. Compared to the brand’s Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer and Plum Pump Hyaluronic Cream, this moisturizer is the brand’s richest formula so far, boasting a whipped butter texture that’s as satisfying as it is nourishing. The moisturizer retails at $40 for 50 mL, with refill pods retailing at $34.

The Formula
I was first introduced to the cloudberry when Glow Recipe launched their Cloudberry Essence Toner, but it’s nothing new in Scandinavia, where the amber-colored fruit is widely known as “Arctic Gold.” And for good reason: A single cloudberry has more vitamin C than an orange, which means that it’s chock-full of antioxidants that help with evening out skin tone and protecting the skin from free radicals. In addition to cloudberry seed oil, the moisturizer features CoQ10 and a peptide-lipid complex to provide long-lasting hydration while strengthening the skin barrier.

My Review

Derek Deng
To me, this is Glow Recipe’s most sensorial launch yet—the luxuriously rich texture of this cream glides onto my skin like warm butter on toast. It’s the kind of skincare product that’s destined to go viral, but for all the right reasons: it’s rich and decadent and nourishing but not greasy or suffocating at all. With a refreshing but not overpowering citrus scent, this moisturizer has secured a spot in my nightly skincare ritual, not just because of its brightening and skin-quenching properties but above all because of its dreamy texture. As someone with acne-prone skin, rich creams often feel like a guilty indulgence—they almost always break me out—but this moisturizer is truly a guilt-free dessert for my skin.
