It’s hard to give summer movie trailer energy via the written word, but I’m going to try. From the brilliant minds behind your favorite summer 2025 beauty blockbuster, Pink Guava Butter Balm, a new—and equally sweet—product is coming.

On Tuesday, July 8, Summer Fridays is launching Blush Butter Balm, a “buttery-soft blush that melts seamlessly into skin” for a healthy flush and long-lasting hydration. Keep reading for all the info on the pretty new product, including our honest review.

The Inspiration

When you have your butters down, you might as well spread that softness any way you can. Blush was an obvious next step for the brand, who know how to consistently thrill their clientele.

Designed for on-the-go moments, the sweet compact these blushes come in includes a built-in mirror. (These are the brilliant minds behind the Jet Lag Mask and coordinating transportable eye patches, so none of this is surprising. Still exciting, though.)

The Formula

“Effortlessly blendable” and created with a skincare-first philosophy, the blushes come in six shades: Soft Strawberry (a neutral pink), Pink Sunset (a warm, peachy pink), Sweet Rosé (a cool baby pink), Toasted Terracotta (a warm rose), Dusty Rose (cool-toned and exactly what it sounds like), and Berry Spritz (a neutral berry).

The non-comedogenic and fragrance-free formula is powered by “a nourishing blend of butters, peptides, and ceramides.” Key ingredients include a fatty-acid enriched trio of creamy butters (shea, mango seed, and illipe) that work to create a creamy and hydrating texture. Meanwhile, hyaluronic acid “acts as a moisture magnet to plump out fine lines” and those ceramides work to to maintain hydration and strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier.
