The Inspiration

Described as “a fresh new perspective” in Victoria Beckham Beauty’s cheek color repertoire (the brand also has their equally gorgeous Cheeky Posh cream blush sticks), the liquid formula was made to deliver “an energized flush that looks like it comes from within.”

While they know we’ve flushed before, the secret’s safe with them. Plus, this stuff’ll make it look like you’re a natural first timer. The three sheer shades—warm coral Coral, Victoria’s signature blush red Flushed, and berry mauve Vintage Rose—all leave behind a watercolor-inspired effect for a “diffused soaked-in finish” that can be enjoyed alone on clean skin or on top of makeup.

“I love the healthy flush in my skin after a workout—Colour Wash creates this same rush of color. The watercolor-like stain soaks into skin for a blush that looks like it’s naturally coming from within,” says Beckham of the product. “It’s the flush you get after a fantastic laugh, a day in the sun… or any other invigorating reason cheeks might show a little color. I can think of a few.”

The water-based formula contains mineral-rich water sourced from the rocky cliffs of northern France and antioxidant-heavy coconut fruit water to amplify that beautiful glow and flush.

“These blushes couldn’t have launched at a better time. The sheer tints are perfect for sweltering summer days or for adding a pop of color before you hit the beach or pool. While they look intense in the tubes, when you pat them onto your cheeks the pigment diffuses out for a super-natural flush. Because the base is sheer, it definitely gives you more of a flush from within effect rather than looking like you have makeup on—I’m wearing the red shade Flushed, and it looks like I just spent an hour playing outside. Because of the watery formula they’re a little difficult to blend over makeup, but if you’re just doing a skin tint or bare face they’re the perfect watercolor stain. Plus, the formula feels like absolutely nothing on the skin, but stays put all day and all night.” —Bella Cacciatore, senior news editor
