When just any old bottle will not do, turn to Justin Lorenz, wine and beverage director for the Lotte New York Palace Hotel. Macallan \u201cM\u201d Scotch<\/strong>
The final entry in Macallan’s 1824 Series steers away from the evocative, color-inspired names and goes simply by The Macallan M. Made with whiskeys that reach far into Macallan’s past with an affinity for expressions matured in sherry casks, it is a decidedly luxury whiskey that takes inspiration from the distillery’s history.<\/p>\n

The Macallan M comes in a crystal decanter designed by renowned fashion and luxury goods designer Fabien Baron and crafted by Lalique, who have also worked with Macallan on The Macallan in Lalique Collection. This comes presented in a deluxe box and with a crystal stopper.<\/p>\n

Balvenie 40 Year Scotch<\/strong>
David Stewart has done it again with this aged masterpiece, now in its fifth incarnation. This 40-year-old whiskey comes from a vatting of three sherry butts and three American oak casks and makes for an astonishingly amazing drink.<\/p>\n

La Fontaine de La Pouyade Cognac<\/strong>
La Fontaine de La Pouyade Cognac is the property of a 14th-generation descendant of the Plantevigne-Dubosquet family, established in the Cognac region in the 17th century. Only one quality is produced, at the very top end of the select “niche\u201d of great cognacs. La Fontaine de La Pouyade is drawn exclusively from the heart of the Cognac region: The Grande Champagne legally classifies as Premier Cru. This cognac is entirely composed of very old eaux-de-vie (minimum 80 years old), treasured in demijohns, having once attained their optimum aging in oak barrels. Every step of the process is meticulously controlled to guarantee that this rare and exceptional quality has reached its peak of refinement and passion.<\/p>\n

GlenGrant 1965 by Gordon & MacPhail Scotch<\/strong>
Located in the northeast of Scotland in the heart of the world-famous whiskey-producing region of Speyside, Gordon & MacPhail is an independent family-owned and -managed firm that has been bottling single-malt whiskeys for more than 120 years. This GlenGrant spent 48 years maturing in oak and was bottled in 2013.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Clase Azul Ultra, Tequila<\/strong>
The exclusive Clase Azul offering is produced only in numbered batches of 100 bottles, which are quickly purchased by collectors. Each bottle contains tequila that is aged for five years in previously used sherry wood casks from Spain, which gives Clase Azul Ultra its unique refined character. The decanter used for Ultra is a striking work of art, hand-painted with platinum, and features a silver agave medallion and label applied using 24-karat gold.<\/p>\n

The Nolet family first established a distillery in 1691. Located in Schiedam, the Nolet Distillery is considered one of the world’s finest. Inspired to create the world’s best-tasting gin, Carolus Nolet, Sr., the distillery’s 10th-generation owner, has dedicated more than four decades to perfecting the Reserve Dry Gin. Its extreme allocation, tiny production, and use of the world’s highest-quality, most-invaluable ingredients make this one of the rarest gins ever created.<\/p>\n

Don Pancho 30 Year Rum<\/strong>
This rum was one of the latest creations in a long line of rums created, distilled, and blended by Don Francisco Fernandez once he left Cuba after being the master distiller and blender of Havana Club rum for almost 40 years. One of the few people in the world to be accorded the title Maestro Ronero and an industry legend, this was one of his latest products in Panama, where he is now based. He was instrumental in modernizing Cuba\u2019s rum industry in the 1970s. Production and bottling of this rum was extremely limited, with a total of only 600 bottles produced.<\/p>\n
