As the old saying goes, \u201cIf it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!\u201d In Demi Moore’s case, that meant sticking to her tried-and-true glam for the 2025 Oscars: long, luscious, super-shiny black hair that goes on and on and on.<\/p>\n

Moore, nominated for her role as Elizabeth Sparkle in The Substance,<\/em> looked every bit the icon with her signature flowing dark hair spilling over one shoulder. Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who has been working with Moore for much of awards season, was inspired by a 2003 Vogue<\/em> cover shot of the star when crafting her Academy Awards hair. \u201cDemi is wearing a beautiful Armani Priv\u00e9 dress. So I wanted [her hair] to be glamorous, but at the same time powerful, like Demi\u2019s personality!” Giannetos explained.<\/p>\n

First, he prepped Moore’s towel-dried hair with Moroccanoil Treatment Original oil to smooth frizz and condition, then spritzed on the brand’s Root Boost Spray and Perfect Defense Heat Protectant. Giannetos blew her hair out with a Dyson hair dryer, parting it in the center. After her hair was dry, Giannetos added soft curls with the Dyson Corrale Straightener and set each section. Once the hair was cool, he brushed it out and spritzed on Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray\u00a0for a \u201clush and glamorous finish\u201d that (Elizabeth) sparkled under the camera flashes\u2014and felt like pure, classic, timeless Demi Moore.<\/p>\n

Makeup artist Sofia Tilbury also kept it simple but stunning with the star’s makeup, prepping her skin with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and Magic Cream. Tilbury applied the Hollywood Flawless Filter skin tint in shade 3 and Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder in shade 1 to Moore’s skin, then added a soft whisper of pink to her cheeks with Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk. On her eyes, Tilbury used the Palette of Beautifying Eye Trends in Super Neutral, then finished with a combo of Lip Cheat liner in Pillow Talk Medium and K.I.S.S.I.N.G Satin Shine Lipstick in Candy Chic. A few spritzes of Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Spray locked in the look for a night of celebration\u2014and hopefully a win!<\/p>\n
